Summer Goes On With Celebrity Cruises
Autumn doesn’t mean that the summer is over. If, just like me, you were busy living the life in London (well, with a sneaky trip to Marbella for me but still!), there is still time to have your Caribbean vacation. Just imagine - you are staying in a gorgeous room with a bathtub on a terrace outside overlooking the sea, looked after in the best possible way, with an outstanding gourmet experience, you can watch a movie when you feel like, go gamble, party, or even go shopping - and all that - at a gorgeous liner cruising through the ocean. Sounds like a dream? Not at all! That’s how Celebrity Cruises guests live their happy carefree life on vacation. I had an amazing opportunity to explore the highs of a gorgeous Celebrity Eclipse liner, sailing from Southampton, from Celebrity Cruises so read on for the highlights of my experience.
Simple chic Awarded 'Best from the UK, 2014 Cruise Critic - UK Cruiser's Choice Awards, the Solstice Class Celebrity Eclipse features the Lawn Club, iLounge, Martini Bar and the new Canyon Ranch SpaClub. The liner has a great ambiance - the variety of cabins (there are three types of the rooms) will suit the travel needs of the most sophisticated travellers - from compact yet cosy inside staterooms, to luxurious suites that comprise a spacious living room with a big dining table and even a piano - select your travel style and rely on Celebrity Cruises to deliver a fantastic experience for you.
While you can have a sneak peek of the cabins here - http://www.celebritycruises.co.uk/life-on-board/accommodation/ - I absolutely loved the Penthouse Suite! With marble master bath, balcony whirlpool, exercise equipment and baby grand piano, the suite comes with having your own European-style Butler service! The Butler helps with unpacking and packing, brings full breakfast, lunch and dinner and drinks, as well as makes spa appointments, dinner reservations, books shore excursions and makes the stay an absolutely fantastic experience.
Pick your treat 1,041ft long (or 317 metres) and designed to host 2,850 passengers, the liner has an absolutely incredible choice of activities to enjoy the journey on board. Modern restaurants, bars, a fully equipped gym, Canyon Ranch SpaClub, a cinema, casino, night club, and even shopping gallery - where do I start?
Murano restaurant offers a modern take on French Continental cuisine, Qsine stuns with its fascinating contemporary dishes, and Italian Tuscan Grille steakhouse will tease the tastebuds with Italian dishes with a contemporary twist. I guess you can pretty much enjoy the dining experience trying new dishes every day of the journey and there would still be places to check and meals to try!
Canyon Ranch SpaClub experience It took at least a couple of hours for me to see the main highlights of the liner - and I was happy to let my hair down - or rather up - to enjoy a relaxing spa treatment at the world-famous Canyon Ranch SpaClub (that features a spa, beauty salon, yoga & Pilates classes and wellness & fitness offering).
Every single minute of Deep-Cleansing facial ($135 for 50 minutes / $200 for 80 minutes) was absolutely enjoyable. Designed to purify, soothe and balance skin, the it includes all the necessary stages - from deep cleansing to the exfoliation and the mask - all with Environ beauty products - to rejuvenate the skin and make you wake up to the new glowing you.
Feeling fully relaxed after the amazing spa treatment, I took my time and rested in Persian Garden - a relaxing oasis with heated mosaic lounge chairs and grottos releasing a variety of dry heat, aromatherapy-infused steam and mists into the air. I could easily spend a day there - while there were still many more areas to explore on-board.
With all the services Celebrity Eclipse has to offer, I felt like the cruise is designed to make one have incredible time - whether you like to indulge on food when you travel, or stay healthy and maintain your fitness routine - while exploring the world-famous travel destinations. Now, off to the summer!
