Jazz It Up At The Bloomsbury Hotel

Kick off your Jazz and Swing experience with a few cocktails by Landseer bar head barman - Joel Miguel. As you might be hit by decision making anxiety when you see the mouthwatering cocktail list, speak to Joel and share your taste references - he will be happy to make recommendations or even mix up a perfect cocktail specifically for you! 

Continue the evening with the delicious food - a glass of Champagne and sharing platter for two is already included within the ticket. Select between a Mediterranean platter (with Mediterranean cured meat 'Lomo, Chorizo, Salami, Smoked ham, and super salads, dips and herbs bread) or Vegetarian platter (with hummus, sweet ricotta-stuffed peppers, tortilla, tomato and olive flat brad, spinach and pimento falafel).

For those hungry for more - the a la carte menu provides a perfect selection of dishes from ‘British cuisine with a modern twist’. Having ordered Mediterranean Chopped Salad and the Angus Sirloin, I have been happy with my choice though couldn't help but have a little bit of food envy - have a look at the picture on the right and you will understand why! As Landseer only uses season and fresh ingredients from local suppliers and employs a team of very talented & creative chefs, you are guaranteed to have a satisfying gourmet experience.

Speaking about the experience, the Jazz and Swing evening will feed your soul, too - with live jazz performances by talented musicians. The evening I had pleasure to attend hosted the gorgeous Vimala Rowe and Harry Sankey and Howard Alden, one of the best jazz guitarists of his generation.  Being one of London’s top female vocalists, Vimala performed at Ronnie Scotts, London Jazz Festival and The Royal Albert Hall to name a few. Her musical influences include jazz, soul and an eclectic mix of world music. Vimala's incredible magical tender voice will make your heart sing...
